About
John is the Corporate Manager for Enterprise Business Continuity and Emergency Operations for Penn Medicine and has 19 years’ experience in healthcare emergency management and resilience. John is responsible for ensuring the steady state readiness, coordination, and response for the Enterprise and ensuring continuity of the Penn Medicine mission and brand. From 2014 through 2024, John served as Chair of the Southeast Pennsylvania Healthcare Coalition, nationally recognized for its model for Healthcare planning, preparedness, coordination and information sharing strategies. He now serves as a Strategic Advisor. In addition, John is a member of the US Department of Health and Human Services Incident Management Team (IMT) under the auspices of the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). Since 2012, John has deployed to a myriad of national disasters and national special security events, as well as representing ESF8 at the National Response Coordination Center (NRCC) in Washington, DC. This gives John a unique perspective across the healthcare continuum.
