​Dave Wojs is an experienced public safety and emergency preparedness executive with deep healthcare and management expertise. He serves as the Senior Director and Vertical Lead for Public Health and Healthcare at Juvare, the industry leader in incident response software. Dave joined Juvare via the acquisition of Corvena, where Dave was the primary operations leader. Before his career as a technologist, He served in numerous healthcare and emergency management roles where he helped development of an emergency department hazardous materials decontamination program, an integrated emergency communications center, and a mass casualty incident plan for a multi-campus academic healthcare facility. Dave has played key roles in dozens of regional planning activities as well as in incident management teams during times of crisis and is also experienced in environmental remediation and demolition project management, emergency medical services, and 911 emergency communications.

 

Dave obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Emergency and Disaster Management with a Certificate in Fire Science from American Public University. In addition to his very rewarding job, he recently retired from a distinguished 30 year tenure in the volunteer fire service and serves as the Deputy Officer for Infrastructure on the Executive Committee of the US Healthcare and Public Health Sector Coordinating Council (HPHSCC).
