James McCorry

About

Dr. McCorry is the Chief Medical Officer of Riverside Doctors' Hospital Williamsburg. He has been involved in Emergency Medicine his entire career and has always had a strong focus on Disaster Preparedness. Dr. McCorry is the Medical Director for Riverside Health System Emergency Management.Dr. McCorry received his undergraduate degree from Widener University and his Medical Degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. McCorry completed his internship at Mount Clemens General Hospital and his residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Emergency Medicine. Dr. McCorry joined Riverside in 2010 and has been at Doctors' Hospital since its opening in May of 2013.Dr. McCorry is an assistant professor of Emergency Medicine at Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) and previously served as an affiliated instructor at Louisiana State University National Center for Biomedical Research & Training teaching Community Healthcare Planning and Response to Disasters courses. He is a current officer of Healthcare and Public Health Sector Coordinating Council.
